Yes. During the week (Mon-Thurs) there is a minimum venue hire period of two hours for all venues. At weekends, large venues such as the main hall at Greenford Hall must be booked for a minimum of eight hours. All other rooms in Greenford Hall have a minimum hire period of six hours at the weekend.

Any event can be booked to run anytime until 12.30am. At weekends, there a variety of tempting hospitality packages available for the larger venues. For more details, please see Fees. Please remember that your total event booking should include sufficient time for set-up and breakdown.

Rooms in Perceval House are available during the week (Mon-Sun) until 10pm. There is a minimum hire of 2hrs Mon-Fri. For weekend availability, please contact a member of the team.

No. In order to confirm your booking, you will be given a confirmation booking form to fill in. Once this is complete, it can be returned to the hospitality and events team either by email, post or in person. The team will then arrange for your contract and invoice to be raised and sent out to you. It is strongly recommended that you arrange a time to view the venue you are interested in before any confirmed bookings are made.

Your deposit is payable when you confirm and is normally 50% of the total venue hire fee. If your event is less than six weeks away at the time of confirmation, 100% of the venue hire fee will be payable upon confirmation.

They will be able to answer any additional questions you have before and after your visit. Once your event is confirmed, an Event Manager is always available to assist with any questions you have in the build-up to your date/s.

It is not possible to book additional time for your function on the actual day of your event. However, it is possible to book additional time in the run-up to your event. All you need to do is confirm your request in writing to the Hospitality and Events team.

No. We have a recommended list of approved caterers at Greenford Hall covering a wide range of cuisine types and budgets who are permitted to work in our venues and who would be delighted to assist you in planning your event.

In Perceval House, it is possible to bring in your own caterers subject to completing some paperwork. Please ask a member of the team for details.

Greenford Hall:
If you are intending to serve alcohol to your guests free of charge, you are welcome to arrange your own bar facilities. However, if you would like to organise a pay/cash bar, we would ask that you choose from our list of recommended bar service suppliers. Alternatively, your caterer may be able to provide a Personal Licence holder and run your cash bar. In all circumstances, you should notify the Event Manager of your intention.

Please note that draught beers are not permitted on site as they require the use of gas cannisters.

Perceval House:
Please note that Perceval House currently does not have a premises licence and so it is not possible to have alcohol on site. If you would like to serve or sell alcohol, it may be possible to arrange for a temporary event notice; please ask a member of the team for details.

Greenford Hall has basic stage and hall lighting which is included in the price of venue hire. In addition, there are a variety of additional technical options including a full, fantastic resource for both professional and amateur theatrical users. Perceval House has an in-built sound system available in the Atrium. The Atrium and Committee Room 5 can also run hybrid, streamed meetings and events.

Your venue will be cleaned and set up prior to your function. After the event, you are required to leave the venue as you found it when you arrived. Kitchens should be cleaned and rubbish removed but this would normally be done by your caterer. Your Event Manager will check that the condition of the venue is satisfactory at the end of the event.

Greenford Hall is licensed until midnight for the service of alcohol and 12.30am for the provision of music and entertainment. As such, it is possible to book a venue until 1.30am which allows for an hour for breakdown at the end of your event. An additional hourly rate applies after 12am. Perceval House does not have a premises licence but hire of the rooms is generally available until 10pm.

It is a condition of our premises licence at Greenford Hall that all public and ticketed events should have SIA-registered security guards present to ensure the well-being and safety of the guests and the venue. In addition, we reserve the right to request that you book security dependent on the nature of your event. Your Event Manager will advise on whether or not this is required, the number of guards necessary and contact details of reputable security firms.

For events and meetings at Perceval House, door security is provided. Your event manager will complete a risk assessment with you and, if any additional security is required, you will need to book this through our in-house provision.

All our venues are within public buildings and so it is possible that members of the public will be around. Perceval House is the main council building and will have staff on site on the upper floors. The ground floor committee rooms and Atrium are operational during the week and may be in use by others. However, you will have exclusive use of the room/s you have booked. If you have booked more than one room within a venue, it is important that you manage the control of traffic flow between rooms.

We have a limited amount of furniture which can be provided for your event eg. tables, chairs. A member of the Hospitality and Events team or an Event Manager will be able to advise on what furniture is available for your particular event.

It is possible to decorate all our venues within reason. Any draping must be attached via existing hooks or be free-standing. No staples or tacks can be attached to walls, floors or stages.

Tea lights in enclosed holders are permitted in Greenford Hall but, otherwise, no naked flames are allowed.

Your Event Manager will be able to advise and help on any specific requests that you have and we have a recommended list of suppliers who are familiar with our venues and would be delighted to assist in making your event look fabulous.

Included within the fee for your venue hire – as well as exclusive use of the room – you will also enjoy the benefit of having one of our experienced Event Managers in the run-up to and for the duration of your event. Your Event Manager will be able to provide helpful advice on anything from catering to security and local hotels and will also liaise with your suppliers on the day of your event to make sure that everything runs smoothly. For larger events, a security guard will also be present for the time that your guests and suppliers are on-site.

In addition, we have a limited amount of furniture which can be provided including tables and chairs. Your Event Manager will be happy to advise on what may best suit your event.

Greenford Assembly Hall has a fantastic lighting system which will complement your theming and the basic schemes are all included within the hire price.

Perceval House has a public car park with 110 spaces across the road which is free to use Monday – Friday after 6pm. Different charges apply at the weekends and on bank holidays. In addition, there is plenty of street parking and there are several multi-storey car parks within a 5-10 minute walk.

Greenford Hall has a private car park with approx 30 spaces. In addition, there is a public car park across the road on Oldfield Lane South.
